Some Paintings I've done

For one summer, while my girlfriend and I were trying to find hobbies that we could do together, we attempted to get into painting. We had done a "Paint Night" earlier that year. And we had a blast. These are some of the paintings I have made. They aren't all winners. But I made each and every one of them.

 

I was copying a picture of Pittsburgh Lake I had taken the summer before. I didn't quite capture it's essence, but I'm proud of it none the less.  







Turns out, trying to paint aspen trees is really hard!








I tried to paint a rose, which miserably failed. Instead of just throwing it out, I just started throwing strokes onto the canvas, eventually it started to look like a creepy face, so I went with it.





This is a picture of some random pier, with it's reflection in he water.

And of course a cute picture of my girl friend and I after our first paint night :D
